I had the initial consultation on Skype with Dr Unson and I felt comfortable with him straight away. I only needed one consult and then I had made up my mind. After the main consult I had constant contact with Dr Unson whenever I needed it whether it by phone, email, Facebook or Skype. I don’t know of any other place that has constant contact with the Surgeon leading up to surgery.

Shaun was amazing to travel with. Prior to departing he offered to meet my parents and talk them through the procedure. Once he met my parents and explained a few things they were so much more relaxed and felt at ease. When we got over there we also had Marc Ong, a local there who drove us to every consultation and anywhere else we wanted to go. Shaun was with me every single step of the way throughout the trip. He came to our consultations and waited for all 5 of us girls to see the surgeon, which took up half the day. He would take us to lunch, dinner, shopping, anywhere we wanted to go he would organize for us without any hassle or problem.

The Clinic is brand new. As soon as I walked in the staff were so warm and welcoming. Dr Unson is the most amazing, nice and professional person I’ve ever met. He makes you feel so comfortable and I didn’t have one bit of nerves going to meet him. We sat down and he took me through a slideshow and explained the many FAQ’s in a slideshow why he follows a certain procedure. He then took photos pre-surgery and asked what my size preferences were and locked me in for surgery 2 days later. To me he was like a friend as well as surgeon, you could ask him any question you wanted to and he was always more then happy to help.

The Hotel was right in the middle of the city. It was clean and tidy and the staff were very nice and helpful. We had free wifi in our rooms so when we were bed ridden we could still Skype our family. They also have a pool and a day spa in the hotel so we could get massages etc without having to walk anywhere.

On surgery morning I woke up still not feeling nervous and Marc was waiting downstairs to take me to the clinic. Once I got there the staff made me a pineapple shake and sat me down to wait. They also had free wifi in the clinic so I could contact me friends and family while I was waiting. Dr Unson came and took me into a room where he drew all over my chest and did measurements. It was then when I started to get nervous, but he took the time out to explain why he put every mark on me, what they were for and why he did it that way, which made me so comfortable and relaxed after that. The anesthesiologist came in and introduced himself to me and started a conversation with me while they put a needle in my hand. The last thing I remember talking about was my favorite bottle of wine and then I woke up and it was all over. The nurses did not leave my side for 2 hours, ensuring I was okay and just being so caring and supportive. Marc and Shaun were once again waiting for me when I got out and carried my things for me and helped me into the car and got me back to my hotel. After surgery Shaun and Marc organized my medication, went and got it and delivered to my room so I didn’t have to move. He even rang up room service for me.

The first 3 or 4 days were very hard, I couldn’t roll onto my side or stomach and was stuck sitting upright in bed. Dr Unson and the nurses came personally to our hotel and saw us for checkups every 1-2 days after surgery to change the dressings and check progress and/or pain. After day 3 he put waterproof dressings on so we could have proper showers, which was a massive relief! The day before we left we went and saw him again to get our dressings changed for the last time and get the all clear to fly home.

I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go anywhere else, Ultimate Beauty Escapes are going to become even more popular and successful as they treat every single one of their patients with exactly the same care they gave me. I couldn’t be happier with the way everything went, not one thing went wrong and they have made my life a lot happier and brighter now!

Before departure I had a skype consultation with Dr. Unson, this was very thorough and made me feel very comfortable with all the details of the procedure.

I travelled with my Partner, and was met at the hotel by Marc, the UBE representative. Marc was very friendly and made us feel welcome. He made it clear that if we needed any assistance that he would be happy to help out, and was very helpful in suggesting good places to eat and touristy things to do.

My first impression of Dr. Unson was that he was a very knowledgeable person, and that I was definitely in good hands. Dr. Unson explained the surgery in detail and made sure that I was comfortable with the procedure and knew all the risks, and also discussed my preferences and took all of my concerns into account.
The accommodation was nice. Very close to the clinic and not too far from the big shopping centres.

The surgery was much shorter than I expected, and the nurses were very kind and helpful both before and after surgery. Dr. Unson was there both when I went under the anesthetic, and when I woke up, which was very comforting.

After surgery I was kept in recovery for a couple of hours before being allowed to go back to the hotel. Dr. Unson came to the hotel the next day to check on me and check my dressings, making sure everything was ok. The post-op care was very good, check-ups every second day and the dressings were changed on a regular basis, keeping the incision sites nice and clean. It was a very fast recovery and I was up and moving around within a couple of days.

My initial consultation occurred over Skype 6 months before my surgery. Initially I was very cynical however, it didn’t take long for me to realize that Dr Unson was very professional and definitely knew what he was doing. He is a very intelligent well-spoken man who was able to answer all my questions and concerns about surgery, and more importantly, made me feel comfortable. Being able to communicate with him prior to surgery made the experience a lot less daunting and I felt comfortable knowing that I was able to establish a relationship with the Doctor who would be performing my surgery.

Marc was there to pick me up from the airport as soon as I landed in Manila. I went over on my own but Marc made me feel welcome and comfortable as soon as I stepped out of the airport doors. Throughout my entire stay he was always just a phone call away. Marc went above and beyond to ensure that I was safe and comfortable for the duration of my stay.

I was actually really surprised when we went to the Beverly Hills clinic. I thought it was a very well presented, new, modern clinic in an opulent area of the city. Dr Unson and all the nurses were really warm and friendly and made me feel completely comfortable.

My hotel was lovely. I had a HUGE room with a great big bed, cable TV and room service; I can’t think of anywhere better to recover!!

My experience was very positive overall. Everyone was friendly and caring. The nurses were very gentle and warm in their dealings with me. The anesthetists were very gentle too. Dr Unson explained every step in great detail and made sure that I was aware of what would be happening. He explained exactly how the procedure would be performed, and told me that he would put an implant in my body that was an appropriate size for my body, nothing more and nothing less.

After I woke from the surgery, I was informed that I could stay at the clinic for as long as I felt I needed to. However, I felt fine soon after I woke up and was able to walk out without any difficulty (after they fed me of course). Marc was there waiting to drive me back to my hotel and made sure I was ok. The next day after surgery Dr Unson came to my hotel to change my dressings and check up on me. I visited the clinic many times after my surgery to have my dressings changed, and Dr Unson even came to my hotel room on his day off (a Sunday). The level of post op care was very high and I was lucky in that I experienced hardly any pain or discomfort.

I believe that the care I received was of a very high standard and possibly a far greater level of care than what I would have experienced in Australia. Dr Unson was, and still is, always available to talk to via Skype, Facebook and email so if I have any concerns or questions (or just want to share a joke) he is there to talk to and always promptly replies. I am now friends with all the nurses (who joked that I looked like Bella from twilight), and with Marc and I look forward to one day traveling back to the Philippines to experience more of this beautiful country and culture with my new friends (and my new body).

I got to speak to my surgeon Dr Joel Unson via Skype before the surgery which made me feel even more at ease and comfortable with the idea of surgery. I could message him at any time with any questions and I always got a reply straight away.

The hospital was very nice and really clean. The surgical team thoroughly checked over their tools to make sure everything was sterilized. I had to wait quite a while so they could double check (not complaining though) and you’re always offered tea or coffee. A few times I asked Marc Ong to get me credit from the shop while I waited. They really make sure you’re comfortable and satisfied.

I’ve heard mixed feedback bout Thailand. From what I’ve heard and compared to Dr Joel Unson (plastic surgeon) Ultimate Beauty Escapes and the surgical team in Manila definitely look after you a lot more and a lot more care is taken.


My overall experience with Ultimate Beauty Escapes was amazing. Doctor Joel Unson was fantastic and I couldn’t of asked for the a better plastic surgeon, he is extremely caring, does regular check ups, and you could call him at all hour of the night with any questions. He is also really funny and extremely easygoing, he made me feel comfortable and at ease. I also had a representative guide Marc Ong, who is again funny, easygoing, really fun to hang out with and made sure I was happy and well looked after. Shaun Simpson set me up to have an online consultation with Dr Unson which was very helpful as he was able explain to me clearly about my surgery and what to expect.

My travel experience with Ultimate Beauty Escapes was great as I had Marc Ong who was my driver for the time I was there. He picked my mum and me up from the airport and would take me to all my consultations and all of my checkups after surgery. Marc was also there as a friend who I felt comfortable around which was really good.

Once I met Dr Unson I felt very safe, he asked me a lot of routine questions about my health and then he got onto the detail about my surgery. He told me about all the risks with my surgery but it made me feel more comfortable knowing everything and with it all being in such detail I was able to understand. Once I met Dr Unson in person at the clinic he was able to show me how the surgery would happen with detailed slideshows on his laptop. He was also able to explain to me how the end result should hopefully look.

Dr Unson was very thorough with my procedure. He was also very informative and told me what to expect. I was really happy how he dealt with me and my surgery.

After my surgery I was not able to leave the clinic until I was completely stable, I also had the nurses by me the entire time. The day after my surgery I had Dr Unson come and visit me at my hotel room for a checkup and after that I would see him every second day where he would check all wounds and clean them if needed or change the dressings. I felt very safe in his hands.

After years of toying with the idea of getting breast augmentation, I finally decided to go ahead with the procedure through Ultimate Beauty Escapes. I couldn’t have made a better decision. I was lucky enough to be accompanied by my wonderful brother on this trip, which was great as I had family support while I was there having my surgery. Ultimate Beauty was really wonderful at accommodating for his travel needs as well as mine. Finally the day came when it was time to board our flight to Manila! After stress-free travels, we were greeted by an Ultimate Beauty Representative at the airport, and made to feel completely at home immediately! The Ultimate Beauty Representative, Renan, took us to our hotel, got us all checked in, helped us change our money and advised us on some of the best facilities around the hotel for our first night. I also got given a simcard with the whole Ultimate Beauty Team’s contact details programmed into it, which was great as I then knew that anyone I needed was just a phone call away. From the moment we arrived, Renan was there to assist us with whatever we needed! He took me to and from the hotel to my consultations/surgery/check-ups, and checked in with me daily to make sure we were being looked after.

We were really pleased with the accommodation. Our room was new, clean, modern and fitted with all the facilities we needed. And we’d never experienced customer service quite to the standard of St. Giles before. The hotel staff were exceptionally courteous, friendly, and helpful.

The next day I went for my pre-surgery physical consultation with Dr Unson. This was the first time I was going to the clinic. When I arrived there, I suddenly felt like a celebrity and was thinking to myself that it was definitely something I could get used to! To say that the clinic is amazing would be a total understatement. It is absolutely beautiful! I was greeted by a magnificent, perfectly presented receptionist who took me through to Dr Unson. It was so great to finally meet him in person! The consultation was so exciting as it was during this time that Dr Unson guided me to make the final decision about sizes, and also briefed me about the surgery that was to take place the next day. I can honestly say that I have never looked forward to the day of surgery this much in my entire life!

In the weeks leading up to my surgery, I had always imagined waking up on my day of surgery and heading to the clinic feeling very apprehensive and nervous. Thanks to Ultimate Beauty, Dr Unson, and his team, this was not the case at all! I was actually unable to contain my excitement. I arrived at the clinic and once again was overwhelmed by the treatment I received there. I remember going into the operating theatre with Dr Unson, the anesthetist, and all the nurses around me and thinking to myself that there was nowhere else in the world I would rather have been having the procedure than at right there, at Beverly Hills. Next thing I knew, I woke up from my surgery…and apparently with the biggest smile on my face! I then preceded to high five the entire team, not once, but twice as I was taken through to the recovery room. As well as this, I even confessed my love to Dr Unson! My brother was waiting for me in the recovery room, and was thrilled to see me so happy, relaxed and comfortable after my operation. I spent the rest of the afternoon in the recovery room, where I was looked after with so much care by the Beverly Hills staff.

So my surgery was done, everything went perfectly, and my recovery was going great! I could not have wished for better results. After a few days of rest and special care from the hotel staff, Beverly Hills staff, and Ultimate Beauty staff, I was ready to explore and enjoy the Philippines! Our fantastic guide Marc, who we formed a very special friendship with, made sure that we were entertained every day. From massages, to fish spas, to markets, to touching cultural experiences, to amazing malls, to museums, to hair dressers, to incredible dining experiences, to phenomenal night clubs, and SO MUCH MORE! We were shown so many great things, and were able to see and do everything at so much ease, and at our own leisure!

This trip, for both me and my brother, was a trip of a lifetime. We both dreaded the day we would have to leave as we did not want our experience to have to end. As well as this, both of us formed very special bonds with so many people while were there, and many tears were shed by me when it came time to leave!! On the plane on the way back to Australia, I looked back on the whole experience and thought to myself that in just 10 days I managed to have surgery that changed my life with the most perfect results, I saw so much of Manila and got to really learn a lot about the beautiful Filipino people and their culture, and I made a bunch of new life-long friends. What more could I possibly have asked for?

For any person who watches the news, hears horror stories about comedic surgery holidays and I can say that was the first thing that came into my head when considering breast augmentation in Manila, this fear was not only mine but of my surround family and friends. I had mixed feeling yes, no, yes, no!!!! After sitting down at 2am for a video conference (which was the only time that suited me) with doctor Unson and my mother these fears just seemed to disappear almost as if they were never there to begin with. He was able to answer all my questions and help me feel comfortable to rest myself in his hands. It was a great advantage to have video conference with the doctor, being able to see and visually assess the doctor make me feel more comfortable and when I arrived in Manila it was easy to know what surgeon was the performing the surgery before we were properly introduced.

When taking to doctor Unson he was able to clearly understand what question I need answered and could answer them in English which was a big plus factor in my book and my families. Being able to talk to someone and understand each other help me to feel that I knew exactly what I was getting and what would be best for my body.

The doctor also was quick to say that he wouldn’t fit an implant that was too big for my body or my skin. Reducing the risk of scaring or an awkward fitting implant that would soon need adjusting or replacing. He was all about achieving the best results within the ability of my body.

The travel with Shaun was amazing we had so many laughs and silly little mottos that keep me from feeling home sick. He was quick to help me when I needed it. Was always ready to do practically anything we wanted to do.

He always managed to get us the best deal on everything took us to exceptional place to eat and showed us how to mingle and manage with the locals. Shaun has previously live in Manila which made getting around the city a breeze it also was helpful when discovering the night life. We went to many clubs and restaurants where I made friends with the locals and was able to set up a photo shoot for a local magazine which was a lot of fun.

Another advantage to having someone showing us around who has lived in manila Shaun knew where to shop!!!!! But I think we may have out shopped him lol... but no matter how tired he got he would always open door for us and made it like we were the VIP of Manila it was an amazing experience.

Beverly Hills 6750......... The photos do it no justice!!!!!! From the moment your work through the door your feel at home. The surgery was extremely classy and the people even more so. Every time we enter the surgery we were greeted with a warm welcome.

We were show around the surgery and introduced the all the staff. We were also offered refreshments on arrival and were never left on our own. The consultations were always on time and we never had to wait for hours in the waiting room.

When I spoke with doctor Unson over video conference I knew that he was easy going and I was right.. He was so easy to talk to and someone you could just joke around with but was still professional. He never made you feel uncomfortable when performing the consultation and explained the sizes and how they working out the size of the implant to fit the body, he also talked about how they did the surgery and the reasons behind the method that he had chosen after his years of experience.

The Antel spa was a beautiful place located close to the surgery and close to a very classy night club called Kyss.. We arrived in Manila in the morning and didn’t do make it to the hotel till later that evening. When we arrived I must say I was extremely tired and was happy to be getting there. When our car pulled up the staff quickly came to the car and helped us out and took our bags. They were so warm and friendly I think they were as excited to see us and we were of seeing them.

I was excited but a little worried and I was taken into the OP room. But the staff and doctors where there to keep me smiling and made me feel more comfortable. The nurse made sure I had everything I needed and was warm.

The anesthetist sat down next to me on the bed and put in my drip that hurt far less than I remember from pass experiences. They he talk me through what he was doing and why he was doing it and that’s all I remember before being woken up from the amazing dream I was having. The nurses were so surprised that I work up and started laughing and talking like I hadn’t even had surgery..... all I wanted was to eat I felt so hungry so they went and got me chicken noodle soup mmmmmm that was the best soup I have ever had.

When I was taken into the recovery room I was happy to see the Shaun and Jo. I got up and went to the toilet on my own with no trouble there was no way I was using the pee tray ... The doctor came in and told me all about my surgery and then it was Jo’s turn, poor thing look so freaked out.

Post surgery what is that??? I bounced back quickly and was continuously told to sit down and rest but been the person I am I just couldn’t to that..... I suffered very little pain and stopped using pain killer the next day. I was ready for practically anything but Jo wasn’t so there wasn’t a lot to do for a few days. I did get out shopping on day two and got some really nice shoes and a dress.

The day after surgery the doctor came to our hotel to do a checkup which was really helpful because I don’t think that Jo would have survived the car trip to the surgery.

Once Jo was feeling better the fun began we went out for dinner and to clubs. Where we made lots of friends. This was towards the very end of the trip. I must say the last day hit on my emotions really hard I was so upset that I had to leave and saying to goodbye to Jo was the worst I really felt like I made a great friend and was hard to know that would rarely ever seen each other. We had such an amazing time from the moment we all met at the Hong Kong airport. She is someone I will never forget and will save the stories in my mind for a long time.

After we returned to Australia I have a lot of down time in the gym that was extremely hard for me. This is something I would think about strongly before I ever have surgery. 4-6 weeks was needed to recover fully in my case but others may find that a longer rest will be needed.

Great news my mum and my dad are amazed by my nose… it’s truly awesome ☺ Mum is really ok about my boobs too. She is a day surgery nurse and couldn’t believe how good they are and my recovery… she’s actually making sure I’m being careful with lifting and slowly getting me back into exercise… crazy hey!! AND as soon as I updated my measurements etc on Modem Mahem… BAM!! I have work coming out of my ears now with local photographers wanting to work with me!! My experience with my UBE rep was personal and professional. Firstly, met at a café, so was relaxed and open to ask any questions I had. I also had Shauns personal contact for any other queries I may have had, he took the time out of his holiday to see me. I felt very comfortable with Shaun, he came to my home to present the contract and met with my partner which made us both feel at ease.

I felt like an individual at first consult with Dr Unson. He was just like he was over skype- funny, approachable and happy to help! He, also was very professional and personal. I warmed to his friendly approach and humor immediately. When at the surgery I felt comfortable and well looked after, all the staff were friendly. I was very nervous, but they were quick to assure me and offer any comfort and assistance. Marc and I watched a DVD whilst waiting for my friends operation first.

Our flight was delayed so we didn’t arrive at the hotel until midnight and were very exhausted. Check in was quick and simple. They were friendly. Great first impression. Immaculate.

My experience with the surgery was perfect. I was very very nervous about how much pain I would be in after operation- but surprisingly was very bearable. Marc dropped us off DVDs and took us to get food and offered assistance always. When we were feeling better we went shopping, had a look around. We didn’t want to go home! I enjoyed going in to see dr Unson every second day for check-ups and dressing changes. He was very happy with his work, which comforted me. Now- a month on after surgery, I feel great! Best decision ive ever made!

I flew straight to Melbourne from Manila to see my partner after 3 months of being apart, so I was very nervous. But was a relief knowing that Dr Unson was contactable whenever I needed. Shopping for new clothes was most exciting! My incisions are barely viewable, and are healing great!

My 1st consultation with Dr Unson was on Skype and FREE. I simply told my UBE rep when I was available and they worked around me. We chatted for about 1/2hr and I felt completely confident with him. After answering all of my questions he supplied me with the pre and post operative handouts to read. I found Dr Unson to be very personable and informative. The fact that it was free was very appealing to me as I had already spent a combined $550 on consults with cosmetic surgeons based in Sydney. By the end of my consultation with Dr Unson, I was ready to book!

All the UBA reps I met were fantastic. I traveled over to Manila with Shaun, and met with Steve and Podgy over there. Shaun & Steve both stayed in the same hotel as us girls, so someone was always available to assist in anyway possible, be it a lift to the surgery, a shopping outing, playing tour guide, or simply someone to have a drink and share a laugh with. Between them they know the city inside & out, back to front and could find anything we were looking for.

Beverly Hills is everything you would hope your surgery to be. The waiting room is immaculate with plenty of comfortable couches to relax on (not that they ever left me waiting more than 10mins) and we were always greeted friendly welcoming staff. Everyone there from the receptionist, to the nurses and the managers, were just beautiful!

And Dr Unson… what a great man!! Its not always easy taking your clothes off in front of a stranger, even if he is a surgeon. But Dr Unson made me feel completely comfortable and confident from the moment I met him. I loved that about him.

The hotel could not be faulted. The rooms, although rather small, were 4* quality and had everything you could ever need in a hotel. Very comfortable bedding, air con, internet connection, and cable TV (including 2 free movie channels) and most importantly, room service. The staff were always accommodating, even with random late night requests. A rooftop pool with a view of the whole city was definitely a plus, perfect for an afternoon cocktail (or 3).

A fully equipped gym was also available for use but Drs orders had me relaxing by the pool instead of working out... shame!!
Having previously worked in the medical industry myself, I was very curious to see the actual operating theatre and the anesthetic equipment that would be used for my surgery. Just like the photos on the website, everything was very modern and well maintained. And to know I had a team of 2 anesthetists and 3 nurses throughout my entire procedure was extremely comforting.

Before I knew it I was on the table, about to have the surgery I had always dreamed of. I was so confident with the team who was caring for me, I felt no hesitations and before I knew it I was in the recovery room! It may have passed quickly for me, but in reality I had been a total of 6hrs… 4 in surgery and 2 in recovery, and Shaun had been waiting in the office the entire time! When I was able to sit up and talk, he brought me my phone so I could call my mum back in Oz. He had been good enough to text her for me throughout my procedure, but I knew she wouldn’t be happy till she heard my voice.
To be honest, I was shocked at how good I felt, I was expecting allot more pain! The nurses brought me some vegan soup and crackers that they had prepared especially for me! (Vegan food is hard to come by in the Philippines!!) I was offered a bed in the ward overnight but I declined… I would much rather be in my hotel room watching movies and getting room service than being stuck in a hospital bed!

The next morning I was again pleasantly surprised at how little pain I was feeling. I felt well enough to go out and check out the city but I thought better and opted for a lazy day of movies in bed… And then the grand unveiling… Dr Unson arrived at about 2pm to remove my bandages and show me his handy work. I couldn’t stop smiling!! He literally had to drag me away from the mirror to reapply them!!

A few days after my procedure I was experiencing some discomfort in my arms where I had received the liposuction. I texted Dr Unson and he called me immediately to discuss my concerns. Thankfully it was all normal and my recovery continued without any hiccups.
Shopping, shopping, shopping….

But when we were finally shopped out, there were plenty of other post-surgically safe activities to fill the time….
A trip to the Filipino museum - ancient & modern history + filipono art OR the museum of human muscle, very interesting!!

OR Watching a world famous sunset at manila bay, while sipping a Filipino brewed beer (purchased for less the AU$2) an experience I will never forget.
We were lucky enough to experience what is known in the Philippines as a ‘Manny Day’. A day where the entire country comes to a holt, no traffic on the roads, no crimes committed, no crowds, as the entire country is glued to the tv screen watching their national hero Manny Pacquio fight in a boxing match. We joined the locals and sat down o enjoy the match on a large screen set up outside a restaurants at the local shopping complex. Now I can’t say i've ever been a fan of boxing but the atmosphere here had me cheering and sitting on the edge of my seat…

On one of the final nights, when all the bandages been removed, we made a trip out to the casino for a nice meal and a show. And what better an excuse to put on a nice dress and show off the new assets!! We had front row tickets to a Filipino stage show called ‘Koas’… a musical love story that could entertain and amaze any audience. Starring magicians, acrobats, dancers and daredevils, it was a mix a definite highlight of my trip.

I first met Dr Unson over Skype when my friend Katie and I had our first consultation, I wasn’t very knowledgeable about the procedure at this point, but as soon as we got chatting with the doc all my questions were answered and every aspect was explained in detail. Dr Unson also sent us though the information on the Beverly Hills clinic. I hadn’t been through other companies at this stage but felt so comfortable and at ease with how the consultation went I knew it was a go ahead, Dr Unson even let me contact him though his facebook and email any questions I had, even though I may have thought it was silly, he answered it.

Our own personal UBE representative, Marc wasn’t someone that just took us back to and from surgery and appointments, he was our very own personal driver, tour guide, shopping bag holder, restaurant king and most of all turned out to be a friend. Marc went above and beyond to help Katie and I on out trip to Manila. It can be intimidating sometimes where you are in a different country, he made me feel safe and comfortable and also knew all the awesome spots to see and eat. Miss you Marcy :P Also I cant forget about Shaun and Libby that helped so much prior to flying over to Manila, if it wasn’t for them organizing and helping the trip wouldn’t have gone as smoothly.

Having surgery in a foreign country was always an unsure thing for me, I seen pictures on the internet of the clinic but still wasn’t sure what I was in for when I got over there, I figured I would go what I had heard and saw about the place (which was only good things). I got a shock when I walked into the building, the clinic was so nice and clean, everything about it felt comfortable and relaxing, the clinic looked newer fresher than the hospitals in Australia. Not to mention the staff were amazing some of the nicest caring people I have ever met, they helped every step of the way.

Katie and I shared a room at our Hotel. The room had its own kitchen, nice bathroom and spacey lounge room, also had really great room service which was my favorite thing to do while recovering. The hotel was close to super markets, restaurants and our surgeon, which was handy going to and from our 4 post operative check ups. Although Dr Unson came to our hotel first day out of surgery to check up on us. Very thoughtful man.

I was surprised how bearable the pain was after surgery, of course the first days always the worst, was painful to move and get up but every day after that got better and better. I know everyone is different with their healing times guess I was just lucky, wasn’t in to much pain at all. The Dr does advise that you shouldn’t be up and about doing to much a few days after surgery though. The most painful thing for me was sleeping, because you have to sleep on your back for a week or so but that’s about as far as my pain went. Throughout staying in Manila every second day we had check ups with the Dr to make sure everything was going smoothly, any questions we had or anything we were concerned about he answered. I also had my mother and her partner over staying with us so they helped a lot when Katie and I were unable to get anything.

Overall I’m so appreciative of everyone that happen, I couldn’t be happier I now have fuller natural looking breasts. The team from Ultimate Escapes, staff in Manila, Marc and Dr Joel Unson I couldn’t have done this without all your support, you all made me feel so comfortable and couldn’t believe how understanding and friendly you all were. I’m now 7 weeks after surgery, all the swelling has gone and heeling around my areola. Thank you all so much

I've always been a tall and curvy girl but was missing curves up the top, So after years of debating I decided to buy my own! Shaun organised everything for myself and my friend so the whole process was easy. Arriving in Manila with my Friend we were so excited! We were picked up by Marc and he was very chatty and made us feel comfortable straight away. We were taken to our hotel and Marc took care of everything at the front desk as we were so tired from travelling and arriving at midnight. When we first went to the clinic I couldn't believe how clean and new the city looked, not what I expected so I was pleasantly surprised. The whole time Marc would organise to pick us up at the hotel and take us to all appointments and extra activites we had in mind like shopping and eating etc....

The day of Surgery I was more excited than anything. The nurses and Dr Unson were so lovely and before i knew it i was being put under anesthetic then I woke up in the recovery room. I thought I was going to feel terrible but I was totally fine. The next few days my friend and I just relaxed and watched DVD's and attended all our check ups. After about 4/5 days we continued our holiday and Marc took us to so many amazing shops and sites around Manila. The whole experience was amazing and I couldn't have had a better outcome, because now I finally have ALL my curves :)

When I decided to go ahead and get a breast augmentation there was no question which company I wanted to go with. Firstly, I chose Ultimate Beauty Escapes because of their professionalism and their exceptional service which doesn’t compare to the rest. I expected the royal treatment and that’s what I got from ultimate Beauty Escapes.

I met up with one of their sales reps at a local café, she was absolutely amazing and extremely professional. This was a great opportunity for me to freely ask any questions I had and find out more about the surgery, country and what I had to look forward to. My sales rep was amazing during the whole process she was always there to answer any of my silly questions and she was completely organised so I didn’t have to worry about a thing.

On the day of my departure I was extremely nervous but luckily I had my dad there to farewell me as I left. I travelled alone because that’s how determined I was to get my boobies and it wasn’t one bit scary. As soon as I landed Marc was there with a huge warm welcome. I landed around midnight and I was keen to start exploring so Marc and myself headed to the local nightclub near the hotel for a sneaky welcome cocktail and to get to know each other.
The next day consisted of regular medical checks, lunch and checking out Manila. Manila is a truly amazing place I wasn’t at all scared to be there alone because everyone is so friendly and the city is so exciting. By now it was Saturday the day of my surgery and I admit I was feeling pretty nervous. The clinic you arrive at is immaculate your welcomed by friendly staff you could have almost mistaken it for a day spa. Being in the surgery room I wasn’t nervous anymore because I had complete trust in Dr Unson and knew I was making the right choice. Before I knew it I was awake surrounded by Dr Unson and his nurses I was shocked it was all over no pain as if nothing as happened but was laid underneath the bandages was something else to look forward to.

I stayed in bed for maximum the next two days just enjoying some time to recover and relax. I was grateful to have Marc there the whole time to look after me and bring me yummy food, the Starbucks mudcake was my favourite. By Tuesday I was out and about exploring Manila started checking out the shops and the best I found were Discovery Mall, Mall of Asia and the Greenbelt (if you can afford it!).

I was pretty excited when Shaun informed me that he had an exciting opportunity for me, that I was being interviewed by the Philippines most famous talk show host Korina Sanchez. That night I really felt like a celebrity with my own private car and driver, being snapped by the paparazzi while I walked down the red carpet into my interview and then rubbing shoulders with the Philippines celebrities. The interview was broadcasted all over Asia and was on Foxtell resulting in a million facebook friend requests from random people (secretly loved it ha). I just talked about my experience so far and why myself and so many people are choosing to travel to get surgery and cosmetic surgery in different countries.
After the interview I enjoyed the Beverly Hills 5th Anniversary party then headed to a few nightclubs keeping in mind it hadn’t even been a week since my surgery and I had to control myself so after I was all clubbed out and on my way home I saw that midget boxing was still open! Yay! It was so much fun recommended anyone to check it out for a fun night out. My last day was truly amazing it went so fast because I went to a beautiful Phippino wedding, lovely dinner with Marc and his friends then out again clubbing at Opals.

Me and my parents were able to have a video conference with Dr Joel Unson pre-surgery whilst I was still in Australia. He explained the procedure thoroughly as well as pre surgery requirements. At the end, we were a lot more confident in going through with the trip and procedure. He was well spoken and answered all our questions.

Shaun (UBE representative) was pretty much god-sent towards my trip.
He previously lived in Makati and therefore made sure we did not get ripped off on cabs, showed us around the area including the nice dining spots and shopping towns. He knew the area and it felt almost as if we had lived there for years. He showed us the ups and downs of the area and made sure we were 100% safe at all times.

Beverly Hills 6750 has to be one of the most hospitable and welcoming surgeries that I have come across.
I had previously been for consultations in Brisbane surgeries and none compare. On entering, they are warm and friendly, ready for a conversation and always wanting to know more and more about you. They even offer amazing pineapple smoothies! Dr Joel Unson (the surgeon) is a caring man and always wanted the best for us. He offered as many consultations as we required pre-surgery to make sure that we walked out 100% happy and safe – which I did.


Pre-surgery I was nervous (as I would be) however the nurses and doctors made me feel as comfortable as possible. The next thing I knew I woke up in the recovery room and it was all done! It felt as if I just opened and closed my eyes and it was done (obviously they have an amazing anesthesiologist). Dealing with the surgery itself and the surgeon was an extremely pleasant experience. They attended to all our needs including doctor’s certificates at the end for University and work. They are the type of people who I will always keep in contact with and definitely revisit if I want any more work done.


Overall it was an experience that I will never forget nor regret. I do believe that if anyone wants to have surgical procedure that they should go with Ultimate Beauty Escapes.

For any person who watches the news, hears horror stories about comedic surgery holidays and I can say that was the first thing that came into my head when considering breast augmentation in Manila. But after sitting down for a video conference with Doctor Unson, both mine and my mother’s fears just seemed to disappear almost as if they were never there to begin with.
He was able to answer all my questions and help me feel comfortable to rest myself in his hands. It was a great advantage to have video conference with the doctor.

Doctor Unson was able to clearly understand what questions I needed answering and could answer them in English which was a big plus factor in my book. Being able to talk to someone and understand each other helped me to feel that I knew exactly what I was getting and what would be best for my body.

The doctor also was quick to say that he wouldn’t fit an implant that was too big for my body. He was all about achieving the best results within the ability of my body.

The travel with Shaun was amazing we had so many laughs and silly little mottos that keep me from feeling home sick. He was quick to help me when I needed it. He always managed to get us the best deal on everything and took us to exceptional places to eat and showed us how to mingle with the locals. Shaun has previously live in Manila which made getting around the city a breeze it also was helpful when discovering the night life. We went to many clubs and restaurants where I made friends with the locals and was able to set up a photo shoot for a local magazine which was a lot of fun.
Another advantage to having someone showing us around who has lived in manila is they knew where to shop!

The surgery itself Beverly Hills 6750 was amazing. From the moment you walk through the door you feel at home. The surgery was extremely classy and the people even more so. Every time we enter the surgery we were greeted with a warm welcome. We were show around the surgery and introduced the all the staff. We were also offered refreshments on arrival and were never left on our own. The consultations were always on time and we never had to wait for hours in the waiting room.
